1 . Product Introduction

Non-shrink high-strength grout (NSG) is a dry-mixed powder composed of high-grade cement, graded aggregate, reactive mineral admixtures (silica fume, slag, etc.), high-range water reducer and composite expansion components. Mixed with water at the specified water/powder ratio on site, it offers early & high strength, high flowability, zero shrinkage, micro-expansion, oil resistance and durability.

UHPC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete) is a fiber-reinforced cementitious composite made of cement, silica fume, quartz powder/sand, HRWRA and high-strength fibers (steel or organic), without coarse aggregate and based on the dense-packing principle. It combines ultra-high mechanical performance (fcu ≥ 120 MPa), ultra-high impermeability and durability, and is normally used with NSG for prefab connection, wet joints and high-performance repair.

Products can be customized by strength grade (C80 / C100 / C100+), flow class, placement temperature (normal / low-temp / antifreeze) and function (early-strength, anti-corrosion, steel-fiber, heat-resistant), covering equipment-base regrouting, steel-column base, wind/nuclear foundation, precast sleeve grouting, bridge wet joints and structural strengthening.

2.Key Advantages

①  High & early strength: 1 d strength 30–50 MPa, 3 d 50–80 MPa, 28 d steadily C80–C100+, meeting rapid loading and heavy-load demands.

②  Self-leveling, high flow: Initial flow ≥290 mm, 30 min retention ≥260 mm (GB/T 50448); fills narrow gaps and rebar-dense zones without vibration, no segregation or bleeding.

③  Shrinkage-compensating: Composite expansion sources compensate plastic and drying shrinkage; vertical expansion 3 h 0.1–3.5%, 24 h minus 3 h 0.02–0.50%, ensuring full contact with substrate, no voids.

 ④  High toughness & fatigue resistance: UHPC with high-strength fibers: tensile strength ≥5 / 7 / 10 MPa (UT05/07/10), greatly increased fracture energy, impact & fatigue resistance and ductility.

⑤  Excellent durability & impermeability: Low w/b, high density; chloride diffusion ≤2.0×10⁻¹² m²/s, freeze-thaw up to F300+, impermeable, acid/alkali/salt-spray resistant, suitable for severe cold and marine environments.

⑥  Dimensional stability: 28 d autogenous shrinkage ≤0.045% (JG/T 408); UHPC shrinkage <200 με, small long-term deformation, compatible with existing structure.

⑦  Easy placement & consistent quality: Single-component dry mix, just add water on site; non-bleeding, non-segregating, pumpable or pourable, batch-consistent for standardized placement and quality control.

4.Application & Usage Requirements

◦ 1. Substrate preparation: concrete substrate must be sound and clean — remove laitance, loose aggregate, oil and wax; thoroughly roughen and high-pressure wash. Soak 24 h before grouting, wipe standing water 1 h prior; keep damp but free of ponding.

◦ 2. Mixing: weigh water at recommended ratio (typically 12.5%–14.0% by mass, per TDS), use mechanical mixing (mortar or dedicated mixer), mix 240 s from water addition until uniform with no lumps; do not add extra or remix water.

◦ 3. Placement: pour continuously from one side, allowing self-leveling by gravity to avoid air pockets; do not discharge at one fixed point. Thickness normally ≤100 mm (pea-gravel type ≤150 mm+; large volume requires layers or added aggregate).

◦ 4. Gap & grade selection: gap ≥20 mm → general type; gap ≤20 mm → ultra-fine / high-flow type; rebar-dense or narrow joints → CGM-3 / sleeve grout. Placement height and speed shall follow the process requirement.

◦ 5. Curing: do not disturb before final set; cover and keep moist after initial set, standard cure (20±2 ℃, RH≥95%) ≥7 d. In cold weather (below 5 ℃), use low-temp/antifreeze grade with thermal curing to prevent freezing.

◦ 6. Trial mix & inspection: trial mix with actual materials before placement; prepare test cubes per batch, test strength at 1 / 3 / 28 d and check flow & expansion. Verify certificate and third-party test report upon delivery.

5.Precautions

◦ Strictly control water/powder ratio; do not adjust water arbitrarily, as deviation directly affects flow, strength and expansion.

◦ Use within working time (usually 30–45 min, depending on grade and temperature); do not re-add water or disturb after initial set.

◦ Min. ambient temperature during placement & 24 h curing: normal type ≥5 ℃ (some −5 ℃), low-temp type per JG/T 408 at −5–10 ℃. Outside range, apply thermal/cooling measures or switch to a dedicated grade.

◦ Grout must be continuous and full to meet Effective Bearing Area (EBA) requirements; do not pour from multiple sides simultaneously to avoid trapped air and voids.

◦ Alkaline product — wear gloves, goggles and dust mask; avoid skin/eye contact. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.

◦ For UHPC steel-fiber system, ensure uniform fiber dispersion and prevent balling; follow TDS for fiber feeding and mixing sequence.

◦ Actual mix proportion, performance and acceptance criteria shall follow the TDS, type/factory test reports and mix-design test report of the corresponding grade. Data herein are typical reference values.

6.Packaging & Storage

Packaging: multi-wall paper bags with PE liner, commonly 25 kg/bag or 50 kg/bag; bulk bags (1000 kg) or palletized packaging available on request. Powder and steel fiber (for UHPC) are normally packed separately.

Storage: store in a dry, ventilated, cool, rain- and moisture-proof warehouse, elevated from the floor and away from walls; stacking height per package label (normally ≤10 layers) to avoid damage and moisture caking.

Shelf life: normally 6 months from date of manufacture when unopened and stored as above; beyond shelf life, use only after passing inspection.

7.Scope of Application

◦ Secondary grouting of equipment bases, anchor bolt grouting, bases of large units / precision machine tools;

◦ Steel-column bases, bridge bearing pads, precast component sleeve (rebar connection) grouting;

◦ Wind-tower, nuclear, port and heavy-industry equipment foundations — large-volume, high-load grouting;

◦ Strengthening and retrofitting of concrete beams, columns, slabs and walls;

◦ UHPC: prefab main/girder beams, bridge deck paving & wet joints, high-performance façade/decorative elements, tunnel & municipal emergency repair, marine and severe-cold high-durability structures.
